Who are we?Inseparable bridges the remote communication and support gap between healthcare professionals, patients, and families, while serving as a vital link for more personalized and compassionate care.
Inseparable was established upon observing the challenges of remote support during intensive care. It was inspired by firsthand experiences in emergency situations and healthcare mobilization, such as during the pandemic.
Our mission at Inseparable is to create both a human and technological connection to facilitate communication, strengthen mutual understanding, and improve the well-being of patients and their families. Our second mission is to ease the burden on healthcare professionals, increasing the quality and valuable time they can dedicate to their patients.
Inseparable is a multidisciplinary team project that brought together cross-cutting skills in computer science, medicine, health law, social sciences, cybersecurity, ethics, design... Inseparable would not exist without them.

A professional solutionSeveral years of medical doctoral research allowed us to synthesize the scientific state of the art, existing needs and potential solutions. An in-depth study ethical, deontological and regulatory standards laid the foundations of our work.
Developed at the heart of a university hospital, Inseparable built upon the multidisciplinary medical expertise of national and international leaders in ethics, intensive care, critical care, and patient support. It also underwent rigorous expert review by academic leaders in innovation management, health law, informatics and cyber security, and social sciences.
Inseparable was developed hand in hand with our healthcare teams, former patients, and their families. Their early usage feedback guided our decisions, ensuring we continually meet their needs as effectively as possible. It is what allows Inseparable to be made available in every hospital.
Inseparable was developed with the human and financial support of Montpellier University Hospital (CHU de Montpellier) through its Innovation Extractor (Extracteur d’innovation). Through this commitment, Montpellier University Hospital and its teams demonstrate the depth of their dedication to improving overall care and support.
Inseparable is a professional application, connected to clinical research, currently being evaluated in a clinical study across 2 University Hospitals. Never before in Europe has such software been evaluated within a formal scientific protocol.
Inseparable quickly gained recognition across its entire ecosystem. It was awarded the Grand Prix of Innovation by the University of Montpellier, receiving the Jury’s Special Favorite (Coup de cœur) distinction. Inseparable was also named the winner of the Innovation Booster (Booster de l’Innovation) by the University of Montpellier.

Through our software, we aim to limit the ecological impact of care by avoiding unnecessary family trips to healthcare facilities as much as possible, which cuts the greenhouse gas emissions they generate, and by designing responsible digital technology for today and tomorrow.
We are also socially committed to reducing geographic disparities in access to care and support. We uphold our founding ethical principles, fighting at our level against gender inequality and all forms of discrimination.
